Obituaries relating to burials in the St Faiths and Eastern Road Cemeteries
ALICE MASKELL, Hampshire Telegraph, 26th Jan 1940. No burial record. Confusingly there was an Elsie Maskell of West St with a son called Frank, who was buried in January 1940. I suspect Alice is a misprint. Plot number for Elsie is 525.

Mrs Benjamin Trudgett. Hampshire Telegraph, 24th Aug 1923. With no christian name I'm unable to find any death records for this lady nor any information relating to Benjamin Trudgett. Further research by the provider of these obituaries deduced that the surname was seriously misspelt and it was in fact Tridgell. Mary Tridgell is buried in plot 1435 along with their son William* and Benjamin Tridgell is in plot 1294 (both in the Eastern Rd section). *William died in the second quarter of 1923.
